James Franco Weighs In On HBO's 'Girls'

It’s no secret that James Franco is a man of many talents. His latest
endeavor? Writing for the Huffington Post.

The 34-year-old actor expresses some tough love for Lena Dunham‘s
character on the HBO series Girls in a piece called “A Dude’s Take on Girls.”

The essay starts off by noting that while James doesn’t watch much TV, he does enjoy the show Girls, which is produced by Judd Apatow, the man who gave James his first good acting job in Freaks and Geeks.

James then goes on to say, “My first suggestion to Hannah (Dunham) would be this: get a f****** job. If you really want to have experiences to write about, go to work; and if you really want to be an artist, take responsibility for yourself and wait some tables. You might mature a little in the process.”

@: and that is a problem because??? I'm not white and graduated from a top 20 university. when I watch this show it reminds me of life right after getting out of college, not having a job, dating douche bags or too-good a guy, going to gross parties, etc. it's well-done and funny. the characters are flawed and realistic.
