Leighton Meester: Short Hair for Flaunt Dinner

Leighton Meester shows off her new short hair at the Flaunt Magazine dinner party celebrating her new cover at Ink restaurant on Thursday (October 25) in West Hollywood, Calif.

“Yes! I chopped off my hair after Gossip Girl wrapped,” the 26-year-old actress exclusively told JustJared.com. “My long, wavy hair got a lot of mileage, so it was time for a change. The girl who did my hair on the show [Lizzie Reilly] chopped it off and I love it. I hop out of the shower and it takes five minutes to dry!”

During the cocktail hour, waiters served hors d’oeuvres atop serving platters featuring Leighton‘s Flaunt cover. “You’re serving food on my face!” Leighton laughed, after grabbing a bite to eat.

Leighton attended the dinner with her pals, hairstylist Billie Lee, producer Shahine Ezell, and music artist Vanessa Curry.

FYI: Leighton is wearing a Mary Katrantzou dress and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Why don't YOU get over it @ M?Penn and Leighton may not be the best of friends... but it IS obvious they get along in real life, ENJOY working together & like each other as people/respect the other as an actor. They did work together even before Gossip Girl. Penn attended the screening of Leighton's latest movie (no signs of Ed). Penn and Leighton were spotted hanging out/sharing a laugh at the Dark Knight Rises premiere...so I'd say they like each others company at least. ;) And they seem to have a lot in common (both are musicians) Don't let your Chair biased ways make you so blind ;) so get over it yourself.

Funny how Chair related comments are rated so high, and Dair comments (more like Peighton in this case) are rated so low. Grow up haha. :) this is about Leighton NOT Blair.
